Thank you for exploring Ancient Egypt with Dynasty Knowledge: Atlas. This policy explains, in plain terms, how the app treats your information. The short version: the app is built to run entirely on your device, and it is designed to know as little about you as possible.

1Information the app does not gather

The app does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or share an email address. It does not track your location, read your contacts, or record what you tap while you browse. There are no third-party advertising or analytics libraries watching your session. Because none of that is collected, none of it can be shared or sold.

2What stays on your device

Anything you personalize inside the app — the places and monuments you bookmark, the display name you choose for your explorer profile, and your preference toggles — is written to a private file inside the app's own storage area on your device. It never leaves the phone or tablet. If you delete the app, that file is removed with it, and the information is gone for good.

3Curated content, delivered offline

The historical entries — cities, dynasties, monuments, knowledge topics, and timeline events — are bundled inside the app when you install it. Reading and exploring them does not require an internet connection and does not send any request anywhere.

4No outside services

Dynasty Knowledge: Atlas does not connect to external servers that we operate, and it does not pass your data to any partner. There is no cloud sync and no remote backup. Your exploration is yours alone.

5Your control and removal

Since your information lives only on your device, you are always in control of it. You can clear your saved places and reset the app from the settings screen at any time. Uninstalling the app erases everything the app ever stored.

6Children

This app is a general-audience reference about history and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly gather information from children, because we do not gather personal information from anyone.

7Updates to this policy

As the app grows, this policy may be revised. When it changes, the "Last updated" date above will be adjusted so you can see when the current version took effect.
